Yesterday I finished the visual effects for the up coming sci-fi mini-web series "Wacth Causality".

I took over the project from another awesome animator/flim maker Chad Perkins about half way through.

I will be posting the link and more stills to the work I did very soon!

Also I am working on this realistic car model.

Using After Effects the rules this time is to use "fractal noise" and "B" or "Bees" in your project. I went Sesame Street on this one!

About a month into a new contract with Zipper as a 3d artist, this is my second contract with them and I still love it.

I have been working on several different things lately and I wanted to post a few of those here.

The After Effects User group Seattle is having a meeting tomorrow night and we all decided to do a 5 second club just for fun.

Here are my 2 videos I made for it. The theme was "rockstar" and you had to use "Mr. Mercury" filter. After Effects CS5, Particular2, Mr. Mercury, Sapphire.

Using Softimage 2012 and ICE I made this test animation. Next I will be using a simular technique for confetti.

6.24.2011 The first 2 Storyboards for the Stereoscopic CGI short film I am starting pre-production on.

I plan to use Lightwave 10 for this short because of the speed in rendering particles, and the fact that LW 10 has improved S3d camera's now.

Modeling will be done with Maya and Zbrush mainly.

I have just recently completed over 2 minutes of visual effects and compositing for a local company!

The project lasted 7 days and was very challenging but also very fun. I love doing that kind of work when I can get it!

Being in the NW vfx/compositing type of work is hard to come by.

It exist but is very hard to find, except in this case the guy found me from my involvement in a local after effects user group!

I will post the link from the movie once it's released to the public.

I also have some possible modeling work on the horizon. Love it!!!!

4.15.2011 Module 1 sculpt finished. This model was created by making a zsphere rig base mesh, then sculpting to completion.

The head will be replaced by another one with higher subdivisions in module 2, which starts today!

This is also my first class assignment. It was made from a single polysphere.

4.03.2011 I have been practicing my hard surface sculpting skills. This character was sculpted from a basic human male base.

These both started as Zsphere base meshes.
